Auditely: the tool behind our free website audit
We built Auditely to find local businesses, check their websites for what costs them customers, and write up the findings in plain English. Every free audit request from this site goes into it, and we review each report by hand before it goes out.

Why we built it
Auditing a prospect's website meant running the same tests one site at a time, downloading a report, then pasting a draft email into a mail app and attaching the PDF. Leads left only as a spreadsheet. We wanted one place that does the checking, the writing and the hand-off, so our time goes into reviewing findings instead of collecting them.
How it works
From a search to a contact in our CRM, in six steps.
Find businesses
Search a type of business in a city, like dentists in Houston. Auditely searches Google's business listings across the city and the areas around it, and keeps each one's website, phone number and rating.
Find the right contact
It reads the business's own website for an email address first, and only then asks paid email lookup services.
Audit the website
Google PageSpeed tests the site on a computer and on a phone, and Auditely checks the security certificate and reads the homepage and up to four key pages.
Write the report
Findings come from a library of problems and fixes we wrote by hand. AI writes only the short summary and the outreach email, and the report is built as a PDF.
Check and send
Before an email goes out, the address is verified, and one that would bounce is blocked. The email goes with the PDF report attached.
Hand off
One click sends the business, the contact and a link to the report into HubSpot, our CRM.
What the audit checks
Seven scores, each explained in plain English. Anything we couldn't measure shows as a dash, never as a zero.
Speed on a computer and a phone
Google PageSpeed performance scores, tested separately on desktop and on mobile.
Search engine basics
Google's own SEO score for the page, from the same PageSpeed test.
Security
Whether the site's security certificate is valid, with a warning when it expires within 30 days.
AI search: business details
Structured business details on the site, and whether the name, address and phone number match the Google listing.
AI search: answers
Clear headings, questions answered on the page, and an FAQ that ChatGPT and Google's AI answers can quote.
Lead capture
Whether a visitor can act: tap-to-call on phones, a contact form, online booking, a contact page, and no broken links.
Built so owners can trust the report
An audit only helps if the owner believes it. Three rules keep it accurate.
No invented numbers
If the AI's draft mentions a number that isn't in the audit data, the draft is rejected and written again.
Plain English
Each problem says what it costs the business in customers and how we'd fix it, in words an owner uses.
Fair scores
A check that couldn't run shows as a dash, so a site is never marked down for a limit of our tool.
Connected to this website
When you ask for a free audit on this site, your request arrives in Auditely with a reply due by the next business day. The audit runs in the background, then we review it, add our notes and send you the report.
Under the hood
For the technical reader: the choices that keep it quick, affordable to run and safe.
Caching and retries
Speed test results are kept for 30 days and shared across searches. "Audit all" runs three audits at a time, and waits and retries when Google's speed test is busy.
Security
A signed, httpOnly login session, row-level security on the database, and a signed link for every PDF report.
A safe public demo
The demo replays a real saved search with contact details hidden, and makes no live calls, so anyone can try it.
Tested
Over 80 automated test files cover the audit rules, the report and the outreach steps.
